View Full Version : Some friendly advice for you lovely chaps.

Do not, ever, drink a pound of custard in one sitting. No matter how yummy scrumboes it is.

If you do, you shall be sick.

Violently. Spurting out of your nose and everything.

Four times.

And, mixed with the runner beans and baguette you ate beforehand, it shall taste utterly utterly vile.

Fact.

I found this out the hard way yesterday. I felt a bit sick on the way home, and shortly afterwards I stopped feeling it and actually was it. I dashed to the gutter (I didn't do it in the middle of the pavement - I'm not a chav) and unloaded a cloudy yellow-grey mass of slime, mixed with bits of green bean (looking surprisingly whole - surely I'd chewed them more than that?). It is a testament to the universal indifference of the British motorist that I was chundering away right next to a main road frequented by buses and commuters, and not one person pulled over to ask if I required medical attention. Gits.
Fortunately for me, I had a bottle of water in my bag, so I was able to rinse the sicky taste out of my mouth. I'd previously bought it because I was already feeling a little uncomfy, and thought some water might make it better. Looking at the label as I was washing my mouth out, I realised I'd bought some water from a company owned by Nestle. Arse fez. Still, it's probably rather appropriate that I ended up using Nestle water to rinse away vomit. That's all for which the groundwater-drilling, baby-killing bastards are any good.

And then I was sick three more times once I got home. On that note, here's an hilarious video of a cute Japanese girl being sick on someone's head: http://www.abrutis.com/video/vomi.wmv (3 megs)

Still, it was damn fine custard.

I don't know if you're making a concerted effort or anything, Anna, but that's the third time you've made it into the quotes section of the site. And only one of those quotes is actually related to Wipeout.

Keep up the good work. :)

EDIT: Just been refreshing and discovered the potatoes one too. He he.

My Dutch friend Richard tells me that custard is really big in the Nederlands - they have contests to see who can eat the most custard in one sitting.

what the hell do you do with custard?

Anyways, I used to consume vast amounts of chocolate custard. It made me the man I am today!!!!!
Never used to have more than a small pot in one sitting tho. That is some extreme custard devouring there, anna! I for one praise you on your valiant effort. Good job! :blarg

The ones of mine on the FP are "I bet you think the great potato famine was caused by a lack of potatoes", "Do not, ever, drink a pound of custard in one sitting, no matter how yummy scrumboes it is" and the one with me rar-ing gibberishly about Fusion's delay (which, with the help of hindsight, I realise was not necessary).

Still, it was very quotable at the time. :)

Much like Al's meltdown when he locked himself out of his car - some of the stuff folk come out with on here is very entertaining. I was talking to Zargz about this the other night, actually, and I ended up reading back through that old post comparing Britney and Sophie Ellis Bextor to cars. It was quite the laddish chat, until Lance and Thrusty let their fascination with real cars get in the way! ;)

I dunno... I get to use a car every day, as many times as I want.

Maybe if I only used a car for fifteen minutes bi-monthly then I'd agree with you, but until that reversal of fortune I'm siding with sex!

Well, they are similar, both involve making noises at appropiate times.
Other than that i'd have to disagree

I say that to myself every time I gaze upon some more fortunate man's Esprit in the car park. But, until my salary either matches his or I become a serial lottery winner, my little go kart known as the Honda Jazz will have to suffice. :)

But the Esprit is soo cool. I want one. Even if it does break constantly. It's still good. A Sport350 (~350bhp) not one of those crappy James Bond ones from the 70s (though there are a lot of nice 70s cars.

I'm just waiting for the day I see someone in a car painted up in their fave team colours from wipEout (two tone blue and yellow diagonal paintjob with the FEISAR logo and "What's your beef?" emblazoned down the side for example). Would make a change from all those chav-mobiles you get round my area.

you just dont know how close I was to getting it done.

Who knows..... I could get it done to co-incide with PurE.
Uber cool for the first month, but then i'd have to live with it for the next (insert number here) years.

I wonder, if I ask sony nicely, I could work out a deal.
They respray my car in feisar clear coat.
I get a feis-car.
They get good advertisement.

Do you think that could work?

Bob Todd
7th March 2005, 04:14 PM
Nah. They might mention the car on the official news site, but they wouldn't pay for it.

Even if it would work, you'd probably have to drive around constantly for them to do it. They don't want it stuck out of the light in your garage while you're playing Wipeout, ya?
