yeah, but what kind of special, do u have to be a modirator to get pics of ships

as far as i know, general members (you and i) are currently able to select from the supplied list of avatars whereas moderators (see the list at the top of each forum) are able to display any avatar they desire. however, the general theme must be wipEout related, which makes sense.

the moderator avatars are larger than the general member avatars in order to make them more visually identifiable.
