"Underworld - Tin there" is the only one who afffect my times
All of you are looking for the best record-making ship or move but you should look for record-making tune
"Underworld - Kittens" also do the same but with less effects.

and also "SICK" from Utah Saint, this song make me really agressive it`s good for elimination challenge or to try some kamikaze moves... Not really effective for making records until now...

it's true, i don't like trance. it's a hard burden to bear, lemme tell ya

whilst we're on the subject, i picked a w3 soundtrack cd up from a 2nd hand shop the other day for £2. it was given away with "arcade" magazine apparently. trouble is it's mixed and the cd is formatted so the whole thing is just one huge track! there are a couple of extra tracks on there, including one by hong kong trash. sadly, it's trance so it's against my principles to listen to it.

Lance
24th February 2002, 04:47 PM
damn! i would love to have that. i love trance, aNd the AG-S logo! but nO, a brit who doesnt even like trance gets it! you brits have all the luck!

heh. i'm just still mad that there is yet no known commitment by sony to bring fusion here.

ps: i love that CD cover.

hm, I found Sashas team-tracks to be a bit unpersonal. My faves are Landmass, Chemical Beats, Photek , Orbital Funny Breaks(or was it beats?), Amethyst: Blue funk ( i think thats the name of the song). Heh, when I got WipEout I was 11-12 years old, it totally influenced my taste in music. It also got me into studying design because of how impressed I was with tDR´s work. funny eh?

id love to hear and see that "Wip3out Arcade". yet im three more weeks with a broadband connection - so i could share it if id have it.

jmoid: why cant you compress the cd to mp3 or send me a copy of it? i think its impossible to find something that rare out there in the inet...

Back on track now, personally I think the descent songs are:
Prodigy- Firstarter(instrumental)
FSOL- We have explosive
Sascha- Xpander
????- Humanoid
Orbital- Funny Breaks
I like a few off of the first WipEout but I can't for the life of me remember what they are called.

Bloody hell. The same thing happened for me! Though I haven't gone into design proper but I have taken CDT/Graphics as a GCSE.

I'm a solid Techno/Trance/Drum n Bass man now...

I played both Rollcages and really enjoyed them, Confusion. Some of the tracks in Fusion reminded me of Rollcage courses.

Haven't owned Wipeout and years and don't have its soundtrack on tape.

Wipeout 2097:
Future Sound of London - Landmass
Chemical Brothers - Loops of Fury
Underworld - Tin There
Prodigy - Firestarter
Cold Storage - Body in Motion

Wipeout 3:
Sasha - Goteki 45
Chemical Brothers - Influence
Propellerheads - Lethal Cut
Undeworld - Kittens

Wipeout Fusion:
Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea
Elite Force and Nick Ryan - Switchback
Utah Saints - Sick
Luke Slater - Bolt Up
Bob Brazil - Big Ten
MKL - Synthaesia

WipEout:
Orbital - P.E.T.R.O.L.
CoLD SToRAGE - Cardinal Dancer

WipEout 2097:
Prodigy - Firestarter (anyone heard the Empirion mix? I reckon it'd be a top WipEout tune!)
FSOL - Landmass
Fluke - Atom Bomb Straight 6 instrumental (much better than the album mix)

Wip3out:
Sasha - Xpander (album one is better)
Propellorheads - Lethal Cut
Orbital - Know Where To Run (album one is better)

Fusion:
Utah Saints - Sick
FSOL - Papua New Guinea (hybrid mix)
Cut La Roc - Bassheads
Stakker Humanoid 2001 - Humanoid
Bob Brazil - Big 10

G-Hob:

I reckon they should do a Rollcage vs Wipeout... I mean they're both damn fast games. Perhaps the twitchy controls of a Rollcage racer would be a little too much for the Wipeout tracks...

the odd thing about Expander is that it has both a sense of urgency and a feeling of calm at the same time.

which is why it is usually my favourite racing music.

I really like Control by Gary McKill on the Wipeout 3 soundtrack - really urgent and the way it builds up as progresses is ace.

I actually met Gary a few weeks back and when I told him it was my favourite track from Wipeout 3 he seemed quite pleased. I have to admit to being a bit star struck, as I wanted to ask him loads of questions and find out if he'd get me an extended mix of it! My boss was there at the time, though and would never have let me live it down!
