I found the Original Wipeoutzone back then if anyone wants to know & wonder.You can download files,and it's a timewaster. I found a couple good files when WipeoutFusion came out, but you cant upload .bmp files so find them somewhere... :evil

I'm a bit younger and joined in 2006 for the sole purpose of finding the WipEout Pure bonus wallpapers. And I think I did, which was such a great surprise!

Although I've used the internet since pretty much the early 2000's, it wasn't until 2007 that I started messing about in forums. To this day WOzone is still the only videogame themed forum I've been in that hasn't either degenerated into fanboy wars and shitposting, or just vanished.

Also that archive is amazing, I often use it just to see how old webpages I visited as a kid looked like and it's incredible the amount of "details" it has stored. Even in reasonably obscure websites from kids shows at the time (early 2000's) there's a lot more than just the homepage.

July 2016 was 16 years since I bought the domain name and January 2017 will mark 16 years since the site launched. The forum will be 15 years old in early 2017.
