quick Steam patch - NOT the big update - that's coming next week

Due to a software issue we’ve had to issue a patch on Steam. It’s a minor change that means when you select the track you won’t see a video preview of the track.

There are no fixes in this patch. The build with many improvements should be coming out later next week.

Will either the patch, or upcoming update, make the testing codes for multiplayer online you gave me to hand out useless ?

the codes will work whatever build or patch is up there - TPP hasn't reopened yet but they'll need to apply for that when it does.
