I found WO 2097 soundtrack - VINYL 2 disc edition at Aus HiFi forum.

I was just looking through the Stereo.net.au classified, and saw this that was posted today

Various - Wipeout 2097 2LP gatefold 1996 VG+/EX/EX Seam has split on top but both discs have been cleaned with Okki Nokki and come up really nice, only a little surface noise. $55

It's being sold by a HiFi reviewer that lives close to me...I just sent him a PM.

I knew a LP version of the original WO existed, but I never knew a LP version of 2097 ever existed, as it's [1996] pretty much late into the demise of the LP format....must be as rare as hens teeth :lol

These aren't that rare wiggle, in fact, 55$ is quite much, unless those are australian dollars ;)

Yeah Aus dollars, a new LP costs around that here now, so a double album in VG+ condition sounds fair to me.

They might not be that rare in Europe, but this is the first 2097 LP I've heard of in Aus.
It will be interesting to see if it's a import with 2097 on the cover, or a US pressing with XL, or a Aussie pressed LP.......I know from owning several LP's of the same album, but pressed in different countries, they can sound considerably different from each other.

EDIT: I just did a google search and found 3 copies for sale 1 in Japan and 2 in the USA...no idea what condition they are in.......when factoring exchange rates, then adding shipping, the Aus $55 seems cheap in comparison.

I just picked up the Album, it's in very good condition, almost like new. :)
The cover is the same as this one, it says printed in UK, so it's a import for me.
