Here`s my prototype of the FX400 Arian Tetsuo Retro-Qirex, inspired by the colours of the F3600 Qirex ace herself, and design stolen from Egg. It still needs general tidying, rounding, smoothing and shaping, and I will try to add some extra features of the F3600 craft. Turning the text black wasn`t easy for a photoshop noob like me and I`m not happy with that. I`ll work on it.

I`d really appreciate any advice on making it nicer, particularly photoshop tips, and yes it`s easy to get carried away in photo mode.

I want to do an Arial Tetsuo Auricom when that ship is out.

And a thousand thanks to Egg for all his tips, and Dogg Thang for his great guide. Now back to playing.

made a couple of simple "pastel" WOZ Qirex skins..

yeh, I think if everyone from the woz try to at least get those 3 letters on their (personal) skin it'd be niiice!

Zargs, your should change the font you used to something like;
V5 prophit cell, Default error or Korunishi
If you want them just PM me...

well, I just pixel'd them together in the online editor, there's no font.

I just try to make them as big as possible so people can actually Read them online!

Wow Nadia, that is a great TIE Assegai. Love it in fact! Clever use of it's prongs being the solar collector panels I wonder if Vader would be flying it. It's more rad than a his podracer.

This thread absolutely rocks!! So many great skins. I really like Doggs' ones and the pirhana from mclarenmps is dope!! Zargz is having a superb assegai aswell and Lunars' qirex is amazing!! So cool! So here are some tryouts from me:

Great colours on that Piranha, Mad-Ice. Yellow yet kind of icey! And Lunar, I love your orange Qirex.

How do all of you do all those lovely skins? I can hardly see a thing in the skin editor, let alone draw on the ship with the mouse.
I tried copy-pasting the bitmap (is it?) to Photoshop but without the 3D model I don't know where I am painting on *g*
I'd love to work on the alternative livery from Pure's Piranha...

What would be absolutely stunning is if you could have added the TIE Fighter scream to the engine sound.

Imagine being able to change the engine sounds to that of famous cars, i'd go for the old Ferrari F1 V12 of 1994.

btw the woz or wipeoutzone text should be on the right side of the ship
since it's the only side you can see in the info view before the start of a race
